Car Bomb Rattles Syria, 25 Killed

Two car bombs aimed at security checkpoints to hit the second largest Syrian city of Aleppo on Friday (10/2) killed 25 people and injuring 175 others. Meanwhile, when the tanks entered the city of Homs.

State television said "armed terrorist groups" to launch attacks, the first in Aleppo since the rebellion broke out against the government of President Bashar al-Assad almost a year ago.

It said a suicide bomber in a car carrying explosives to attack a police station, destroying the food distribution center terdkat. The second bomb aimed at an intelligence base.

"The number of victims who were taken to hospital in Aleppo has so far reached 25 people and 175 people injured as a result of terrorist attacks," said the health ministry was quoted on state television.
